Dyer Dozen (unfinished)

Want more for others than you want for yourself.  Whatever you think is missing, what is wrong with your life, want what is missing in other’s lives more than what you want for yourself.

The core principle here is of course selflessness.  One must always keep in mind that the source of all things is god, from which all thing spring.  And god lives within us.  One must use a little spiritual logic to understand that if you want something for yourself, the only proper way to acquire it is to provide such a thing (or anything at all) to others.  In this way, one creates a sort of vacuum within oneself which god rushes to fill.  In other words, see yourself as able to provide for others whatever they need, even though you yourself don’t have it yet, and god will rush to fill the current void, the current lack of what you are trying to provide, and thereby you will have it, not just for yourself, but to give away, which was the whole point in your mind in the first place.

In spiritual circles there are different sayings to express what I explained above.  For example, it is said that he who would be the greatest (provider) must be the smallest (unconcerned for his own well being).  He who would be remembered as the most noble must be the most humble.  He who would be the richest must give away the most.  God may work in mysterious ways, but they are not incomprehensible.  Most of us have just never been exposed to such a way of living and thinking.

Think from the end.  As in magick.  Act as if it is already here.  This is intention, will.

This is the key to making your life work in the most divine way.  The imagination is the most powerful tool human beings have.  Imagination changes the world.  The proper way to use the imagination is to think of what it is you want or are trying to accomplish, from the end, or as already existing, already finished, already accomplished, etc.  This creates “stress” on the universe because it does not match up to what it is you are thinking about, and so god or source rushes in to make what is in your imagination real as soon as you start thinking about it.  Keep the thought in your mind always with total concentration and soon you will see the ‘miracles’ manifesting as the source seeks to provide you with what you need to create what is in your mind.  Think from the end.  See it as already done.

Be an appreciator in your life.  Look for that which is of value rather than worthless.  What is more valuable than being connected to source.

We are all connected to the source within, whether we are aware of it or not.  Most are oblivious to this eternal fact, and never think that it is an active connection and not a passive one.  But for those few who “step up” and make the effort to become conscious of this eternal active connection, life becomes a constant miracle, a joy to experience.

When one is in touch with the source within, it is easy to look around and see how incredible everything is, and how all of it is necessary, and none of it is ‘unclean’.  It becomes second nature to appreciate everything and everyone you see, because you know deep down that it is all a small part of a big whole, and all of it is here for an important reason.  To condemn anything is to condemn a part of oneself.  And to do such a thing is to deny a part of oneself.  What you hate and despise “out there” is really a reflection of what you hate and despise about yourself “in here”.  The source knows nothing of denying one’s parts.  The source only knows wholeness and integration.

Be in rapport with source.  Be in harmony with source.

Every thought you have other than that which you came from (source) is resistance.

Remember that god is all about wholeness and integration.  God wants togetherness.

See yourself as being surrounded by the conditions you wish to produce.  Seeing yourself from the end.

Understand the art of allowing.  Take the path of least resistance.  Allow yourself.

Once you are united to source and are actively creating your life, remember to allow the dream you have of yourself to come to you.  This is allowing.  Don’t worry so much about how things will take place, but rather focus on the end of what it is you want to do for the benefit of others, and allow god to fill in the rest, taking you to your dreamed-of destination by a series of synchronistic events that are sure to manifest.

Practice radical humility.  You are not the body.  You are not your possessions.  You are divine.

Remember your connection to source in that you are IT by virtue of the fact that you are a part of IT.  It is not found in the physical world.  The source is intangible.  It can only be sensed internally at best.  Its actions take place in the physical world, but IT is not to be found there.  Do not bother to look “out there” as you will find only a reflection of the source and not the source itself.  Even your body is only a reflection of the source that is within you.  Your possessions are anything but that.  At best they are loaned to you for a duration of time, however long or short.  They are not yours.  They are ephemeral, like your body.  A mirror only reflects light.  It is not the light itself.

Be grateful, always.  Be generous because it all comes from source.

You never resolve a problem by condemning it.  Don’t use shame with a problem, it is too low an energy to raise anything.

Play the match game.  Are you connected to source?

Mediate.  This is how you stay connected to source.  You cannot divide silence.  Source is undividable and found in the silence.

Happiness is found by arranging your mind.  When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
