It occurred to me that the world’s political leaders who go to war with each other over their own unconscious deeply seated religious prejudices are similar to a couple of teenaged girls who engage in a cat fight over possession of the same potential boyfriend.
Both leaders think they have found the One and Only God and then fight over it! The truth is they have both found the same thing and given it different names. If it were not for the fact that millions of idiots listen to the leaders’ arguments for war and then actually do the fighting themselves, it would be funny.
Einstein once wrote something to the effect that one of the most disgusting things he has ever seen is young men marching in unison. I tend to agree.
I think the saddest tragedy in the world is anyone who lets someone else dictate every aspect of their life, much less con them into forfeiting their life on a battlefield for something they never even wanted to be a part of…but such is the fate of all sheep. Lesson? THINK FOR YOURSELF. Or one day someone will do your thinking for you.
A man who thinks for himself is an impenetrable fortress of Spiritual Power; he cannot be fooled or conned by anyone’s bullshit. He answers to none but God Almighty Itself. Political power is as a mosquito to such a Man of God.
