Love is not positive. Love is neutral, for lack of a better word. Love is the end result of the interaction of opposites. Male and female unite with the goal of experiencing love. Good and Evil clash and produce love.
When one arrives at a state of being in which the Polar opposites are in constant interaction with each other, constantly producing love as the result, then with continued interaction there will eventually come a time when the results produced from one interaction are no different from the last interaction—the Polarities have been refined through so much interaction that the end result is no more changed from the last end result. One has achieved a state of being in which the clash of opposites no longer produces anything different. Love becomes a constant state of being. This is a changeless state of being. One moment is imbued with as much love as the last moment, unchanging in the face of the changes all around.
Such is the state of being of an enlightened being. They exist in an unchanging state of changelessness. They are the great Neutralizers. Love is their weapon. They can be what they must and do what they must to neutralize the polar activity within them and around them. They exist in a state of calmness, neutralizing the evil with good and good with evil. Their only reason to exist here on earth is to teach all of us to do the same as they, to practice some technique that will produce a constant state of Love, that we might end our suffering.
