LAUGH OR CRY, BUT DIE YOU WILL
Laughing and crying are the same manifested action, but our decision to see it as one or the other is our choice. Even choosing not to react is an option. One need not cry nor laugh at anything, much less react at all.
We laugh because life hurts. We cry because life hurts. We do not want to be here. Laughter is a joyously positive and fun way to live consciously because it helps alleviate suffering.
Life is suffering. Whether we laugh or cry, we are suffering.
Perhaps it is better to laugh than to cry? But doesn’t this positive mood just prolong life itself which is suffering?
Perhaps it is better to cry than to laugh? But doesn’t this negative mood shorten life by concentrating suffering?
Which is better? Is there such a thing as a better life when all life is suffering?
Once understood, life is meaningless, pointless, and it is not worth sticking around in one room of God’s mansion any more than any other room, and neither is it needed to stick around at all. Leaving forever is also an option. While still alive, this usually manifests as someone who pays little attention to the universal panorama in front of him, as he/she already understands it all.
