HALF ASSED SUMMATION
Do not fall into the trap of thinking you are not important in this world. You are very important indeed. Your very presence here is evidence of such. “You affect others by your presence”, said Walt Whitman. What kind of effect you are having depends on the degree of connection to the source within yourself. I would put forth the notion that you affect the whole world by your presence.
All it takes is one person to change the world. One person with a dream, who follows it come what may. Such a person is always remembered for their subsequent actions, whether said actions be for the common good or cause unwarranted destruction. Even evil tyrants were just following their dreams. But we remember them as easily as the saints and miracle-workers who have lived and changed the world by following their own visions.
If you connect yourself to the source within, and follow your dharma, your inspirations, for the benefit of all…can you even imagine what you can do for the world? How will the world remember you?
