Give love to Isis or Maya-Illusion as though you were making love to her, which in a way is how you get out.  You let ‘her’ be what she is and just give love to release it.  If you give it nothing but love, then nothing it throws at you can make you not love it therefore judging it and making it real.  You let everything and everyone be unless they ask you then you grant help if appropriate.  You do your work to try to offer your peace to others, just like offering your love into the symbolic vagina of Isis.

Life is not of God.  Life is something outside of God.  It doesn’t matter what one does in life because life is not of God.  Life is a dream.  By its very essence, it is ephemeral.  It is transitory.  Perhaps more importantly, it is essentially meaningless.  Life, the world, one’s sense of self importance, all are as nothing because they are nothing.  And the reason for this is as stated before—it is not of God.

I have heard from the masters themselves that they along with other masters realize that one’s vocation in the world is unimportant.  In fact it is a historical fact that many masters ‘do nothing’ from the perspective of the common people.  Masters have been known to sit in meditation for 20 hours a day, sleep little and then do it all over again, only rarely entertaining visitors who are always sincere, devoted spiritual seekers deserving of the presence of such a reclusive spiritual giant.

It may certainly seem unfair to most of us unenlightened that spiritual giants don’t ‘work’ like the rest of us.  But the reason for this is that masters realize that life is just a dream and what they do whilst in a body is essentially unimportant because of the very unreal nature of the universe itself.  Therefore they know it doesn’t matter if they actively teach using all available media or if they keep to themselves and let sincere students find their way to the master’s door thru fate, destiny, desire to meet a teacher, etc.

Think of life thru this weird analogy.  Suppose someone walked up to you and gave you a million dollars and told you to spend it any way you wanted, but there was only one catch—when the money is all gone, no matter how you have spent it, it will come to nothing in the end.  This is because you are not allowed to keep anything you purchased, no one will be able to keep any gifts you purchased for them, and nothing you do with the money (no matter how charitable) will make you or anyone happy in the end, no expenditure will change anything or make a better world or change the way things are done or remove the evil from the world or magically make everyone super intelligent or compassionate or totally loving.  Essentially, no matter how you spend the money it won’t change a goddamned thing about the world.  Why?  Because the world and all that is in it is a dream—and dreams have no reality.

Now…would you still think that the money was important?

Think of it another way.  Instead of money, think ‘time’.  Or think ‘work’.  In other words, if how you spent your time or what work you did while alive really didn’t amount to anything upon death, basically leaving the world unchanged, then what would you do?  Better yet, would you even care about what you do, how you occupy your time, or what job you have, or what career you pursue, or…anything at all?  Would you place any importance upon a damned thing you do?  If you answer ‘no’ then you can understand why some spiritual masters don’t ‘work’ like the rest of us.

Or think of it this way.  Do you worry over or place any importance upon what you do while dreaming at night?  Do you behave the same way in a dream as you do when you are awake?  Does your dream persist upon awakening?  Of course not.  Worldly life will not persist upon death.  Death will be an awakening of another sort in which you awaken to the fact that your worldly life in a human body was just a dream and all the things you did and the self-importance you placed on everything you did was for really for nothing because it was just a dream.  And it all was a laughable and pitiable waste of time and effort to fret over how you spent your time or what job you worked or who you dated or what awards you won, etc.  All was for nothing.  And to take is seriously or treat it as ‘something’ is to make an ass of yourself.

Life is an entertainment.  Don’t take it seriously.  Do what you wish and don’t regret it.  Live life NOW.  For tomorrow may not be.  One day will come when tomorrow will not be.  One day you WILL DIE.  So why worry over what you do?  Just do what comes naturally.  Life will be at least an amusing carnival ride.  But just remember this…

All carnivals close down at some point.  Everyone goes home in the end.  God is that Home.  God is where we go in the end.  And we are all part of God.  All the parts of God go back to God in the end.  Only God is.  And there IS nothing else.

When you were a kid on a carnival ride, did you take it…seriously?  Or did you just enjoy it for what it was?

Judging anything that one experiences ‘out there’ in life is equivalent to making it real because of the needless attention given to it.  One might correctly say that judging is little more than making a big deal out of something that is not a big deal at all because that something is really nothing.  Being judgmental in life is as silly as judging your nightly dreams as if they are real with a capital “R”.

Life is like a movie.  And no one likes a critic.  Either help film the movie or be a spectator in a movie theater.  Critiquing a movie is as idiotic as passing judgment on anything in this illusion we call life.  Life is a dream.  A movie is a dream captured on celluloid.   Life is a dream captured by the mind, by consciousness.  Critiquing a movie is judging a dream is attempting to make a reality of the unreality of life.  It’s all just a dream.  Treat it as such.

Would you go around judging and/or condemning the dreams of others?  What would be the point?  So why do the same to your own?

Judge not, lest ye make an ass of thyself.

Don’t judge what you do.  Just do.  Without hesitating or thinking or double-thinking about it.  When you hesitate or doubt, you are in fact exhibiting a fear-based behavior in the face or what is otherwise a required action on your part.  When you can act with no fear or hesitation, there will be no doubtful thoughts appearing in mind.  Buddha described Nirvana as Desireless-ness, non-thinking stated another way.  When you don’t have to think about what you do, you will be acting as a perfect Karma Yogi, one who achieves Oneness with God thru Action.  This is a principle active on the physical level as well as finer levels.  When you simply observe even while you are performing an action then you will not judge, doubt, fear or think about what it is you are doing.  Then you become “this thing…doing…that thing”.

The less doubt or fear you experience, the more you will experience a kind of ongoing joy similar to an orgasm.  That is what a Buddhist monk (who had been celibate for 30 years) meant when he described his personal lack of any need for sex by saying, “When you are coming all the time, what does it matter?”

The more you lose fear and doubt, etc., the more you see life is just a dream that cannot truly hurt the ‘real you’ in any way.

Choose your way in life and then do not doubt your choice…simple.  That is concentration because you are not doubting.  That is Karma Yoga in action.  Then you seem to be beyond just doing, you are being then, just being.  Then the effortless flow of God thru you becomes your whole being.  The less you doubt and fear, the more God fills you.  Empty your cup first, then it will overflow with God.

Just have no doubt.  Choose and do and be.  The more you choose to stop doubting, the more God will be with you.  Then your actions will be divine, as if God had done them.  And the work you do will find its way into needful hands even without you having to advertise it.

That is about as simple an explanation of a divine life in action.  Do with no judgment, fear, or doubt.  Just be, and know within yourself that it is all a dream.  That is all.

Do you judge a dream at night while you are dreaming?  Of course not!  You are just experiencing it.  So let it be also with the waking hours, just experiencing with no judgment.  Why judge something that isn’t even real, isn’t even there in the first place?!?  Why judge everything or anything in life when life itself is just a dream in the first place?  If you are judging it, then you can’t enjoy it for the fanciful thing it is!

Seen from one perspective, fear is a reaction to the fact that we don’t know it is God’s Will that is trying to occur and all we have to do is give in to that Will.  And when we see that doing everything with no judgment or fear is the way to live, then you will see it is God’s Will, because you can’t hurt yourself in a dream that is not really of God.

Choose what comes naturally.  It is God’s will that comes naturally when you get out of the way.  It is then God that does all the action.  You are so in tune with it that you realize you are one with God even as God does it thru you.  Choose to do God’s will by doing what is natural, and what is natural is merely that which you are attracted to, that which excites you.

And there is not much you can do in life except to play your little part, which is meant for you because you have already chosen it, and it is merely manifesting before you.  So why choose to not choose that which you chose so freely?

As the electricity passes thru circuitry it generates the intended output of the program contained within the circuitry.

As desire passes thru the mind, so the mind produces the result of that desire in the quantum field of consciousness experienced as that thing we call life.

Freedom from the suffering of life stems from desirelessness, which means that no electricity-desire passes thru the circuitry-neurons of the mind, which results in the cessation of generating the output of the mental program of the experience called life.

The experience of Death is the end of desire.  The end of desire is the experience of Death.

In Buddhism the state of desirelessness is called Nirvana, also referred to as Enlightenment.

The Buddha taught four Noble Truths.  Among them are the truths that “life is suffering” and “there is a way out of suffering”.  The experience of Enlightenment results in Death which is the end of the experience of suffering we call life.

It is as simple as that.

Someone who desires an immortal body is either a very loving and sympathetic enlightened being who has already experienced their own death with full conscious awareness still intact and compassionately returns to life because they wish to remain longer to help enlighten the more suffering beings still stuck in darkness……

……Or that person is an unenlightened misguided fearful fool who will stop at nothing to attain immortality because they have not yet faced their own death with full consciousness and are therefore deeply afraid of dying.

Anyone who desires physical immortality either possesses Godlike Love for All, or else is the biggest moron who ever lived.

Paramahansa Yogananda once stated something to the effect that even God would not punish a sinner with the curse of physical immortality because it is much too cruel a sentence for even the worst being who ever lived.  Think about it.  Wouldn’t you be quite tired of life after a few thousand years in the same body?  Perhaps even as relatively few as 200 or 300 years?  Most people are sick of it before they reach their middle-age.

In the fictional novel Interview with the Vampire (by Anne Rice) there is a character named Armand who has been a vampire for 400 years (and claims to be the world’s oldest).  Even he laments how there are incredibly few vampires who have enough strength for eternity.

The promise of physical immortality is something that can only be granted to an enlightened being.  And even then, there are few who accept such a gift.  But they have existed and still do exist today…and are still out there.

God said in a vision, “I reflect myself, so that I know I am not alone.”

Everywhere one looks, he/she will see him/herself, as reflections of what is inside of one’s own self.

While in deep meditation, I sometimes sense that this thing I call “I”, this body allegedly holding the totality of all that I think is me, is just an illusion, a place for eternal consciousness to reside.

What disturbs me the most, if nothing else, is that this experience called life seems endless, utterly endless.  The closer I approach to the Truth in silent meditation, the more it seems that ending this dream called life is as easy as turning off an electric light—just make a decision, flip a switch, and it is all over.

It disturbs me a bit because if I am right, there is no way for any of us to escape ourselves.  Stated another way, God is us and we are God.  Therefore how can we escape from ourselves and what we are doing here?  How can we escape life itself?  Life seems eternal.  Life is a dream.  But even dreams end when we wake up at night.  How much more so is that true when we use analogy to examine our waking life and what happens at death.  When we die, somehow we go on in another form, one might say existing from a perspective other than what we are used to.

And that is the thing that I find so difficult to comprehend—the simple fact that life seems to constantly go on in some new form.  I don’t see an end to it…unless we decide to end it (thru acquisition of divine knowledge & wisdom as it is taught in yoga science & philosophy), and never return to life in any form.

But somehow I wonder if it is possible to REALLY end it all anyway?  All beings seem to need rest at some point.  We humans certainly do.  And since we imitate God in all our ways, is it not reasonable by the use of analogy to postulate that God also rests at some point?  That perhaps God sleeps?  And if so, then by Polarity… wouldn’t God wake up at some point?  And if that is so (again, using analogy), one has to ask the obvious questions.

Is the universe a creation of a God that is dreaming?  Or is the Universe something that is happening to a God that is awake and experiencing the Universe as a separate creation beyond God?

And if the latter is the case…then who, or what, created the Universe, engendering life with all its components?

Then again from another perspective, since All is One, wouldn’t the apparent dichotomy that is plaguing me in this essay be the real problem itself?  Is perspective the problem?  Isn’t is possible that God is awake and dreaming simultaneously?  With an eye on analogy, wouldn’t this dreaming-while-awake possibility account for the fact that we operate in both modes in the course of a 24 hour cycle?

I am befuddled.  Is this life all there is?  Does it really go on in some other plain of existence which we perceive in a more accurate perspective?  Do we simply change perspective to see more clearly that what is,…simply is?  With no way to escape it?  Once again harkening to the concept that we cannot escape from ourselves, ourselves being God?

Things seem so much clearer when I am deep in meditation.  All stops.  All dichotomies converge into One whole.  All that changes is my perspective, really.  I don’t literally see things morphing into one big glob of light or anything similar.  What happens is I just sense that inherent Oneness of It All.

And then the meditation ends at some point.

And I am befuddled again.

Sometimes I think that we are not here to try to change the world outright, or at least not in the usual way one thinks.  At times it seems to me that all we are here to do is to change our perspective on the world, on how we react to everything going on around us.  According to the laws governing the universe and consciousness, all one has to do to change the world is to change oneself, change one’s view of the world.  The more we let go of attachments to the wild and crazy dream world going on around us, the freer we become and thereby the world ‘changes’ to our perspective.  We become OK with all that is happening around us, realizing that it is all part of God’s Ultimate Plan which is proceeding accordingly.  Joy and peace become ours by un-limiting our viewpoint and interpretation on the world.  When that happens, the world around us changes, and thereby we change the world.

The forms of government known as Democracy and Republicanism (or just plain Republic) are divine forms of government only because they accurately reflect two Polar Opposites.

In a Democracy the collective will always wins, i.e. the majority rules, thereby usurping the choice of the minority.

But in a Republic, no number of persons can overrule any one individual, because that one man’s Free Will Choice is considered as sovereign as everyone else’s choice.

In spiritual terms this means that (as in a democracy) the world we see around us is the result of our collective will, i.e., what we create with our spiritual or magickal power.

Conversely the world we see around us (as in a Republic) is a reflection of all that is trying to lord over the individual, attempting to overpower his sovereignty.

In spiritual circles, Free Will is The Rule.  Any collective will that overpowers that is considered wrong, evil.

And yet, isn’t this exactly what we have in America?  A land that proclaims Republic-style Free Will and autonomy for the individual whilst simultaneously trying to take it away from him in the form of Democratically drafted laws that force all to follow its dictates against their Will?

Indeed, America may just have the most accurate governmental reflection of Polar Extremes.

Thomas Jefferson recommended a revolution every 20 years or so.  Perhaps he knew quite well the dangers of never ‘shaking up’ a governmental system, lest one side totally dominate the other.

Just short of completely eradicating government altogether, sounds like Jefferson had as good an idea for America as I have ever heard.
