JUST ONE PERSPECTIVE ON SEX—THE SOUL IS BISEXUAL

August 20th, 2009

People seem to engage in sex because it is a way for us to release each other from the pain and suffering of life.  This assumes of course that the sexual act is intimate and expresses honest love and affection, even worshiping the partner, for that is the most fulfilling of all sexual acts.

People seem to engage in sex in an attempt to overcome our perceived separation.  We seem separate on a physical level because of the sexual differences of our bodies.  However sexual differences manifest solely on the physical plane.

On the Soul level, we are all bi-sexual in that we both give and receive love.  It is obvious on the level of the body what parts give and receive.  But on the inner planes, there is no sex.  All is One.  All is as perfect as it can get.

Perhaps this Inner Oneness is just one reason why people want to have physical sex—so they can try to experience the Oneness of their Souls by temporarily forgetting their bodily differences during orgasm.

Seems simple enough.

THE SECRET OF TANTRA—YOUR SEXUAL PARTNER IS GOD

August 20th, 2009

On another sexual note…Orgasm is the experience of simultaneously experiencing both Union with something  while still being separate from God.  Spiritually speaking, if one must concentrate on something until orgasm occurs, then let it be God.  That way you will be happier by achieving orgasmic union with God.

The reason people sometimes express that strange face of horror during orgasm is because they are focused on anything but God, usually something about the partner that turns them on, or even just focused on pleasure itself.  This sort of activity eventually leads nowhere because of the fact that one is always focused on something here in the hellish 3D world of Dualistic suffering we call life.  This kind of sexual encounter provides only a fleeting glimpse of the ecstasy one could feel in union with God.

If you must focus on anything at all during sex, let it be God.  In the practice of Tantra, this is the whole focus of the coupling ceremony—paying total attention to the partner whom you imagine is God, adore as God and worship as the physical embodiment of God.  In this manner, when the lovers have their eventual orgasms, they are in essence focusing total attention on God through the help and assistance of the partner.  The result of all this is that the sexual experience itself will be different, far different because the goal is whatever is on the mind.  And in this case, the goal is God.

Whatever we focus on becomes a reality in both our inner and outer world.  During tantra practice you are literally changing the person in front of you into a god-being.  And your partner is doing the same for you.  To help change someone into a perfect reflection of God, and thereby offering the Peace of God, must certainly rank as the most wonderful thing two people can ever do for each other.  This may be Karmic reciprocation at its most immediate.  Whatever you try to give this person is also given to yourself because the reality you create is experienced by you on both the Inner and Outer level simultaneously.  This is the true work of God—helping others to reach God as well.

Imagine having sex with “God” and thereby getting closer to God the whole time…no wonder Tantra is so much more enjoyable than regular sex.  Why anyone would engage in anything less than getting it on with the Almighty is beyond me…

SOME SECRETS OF YOGA AND CONSCIOUSNESS

August 20th, 2009

Performing yoga is like watching yourself sleep.  If one has no thoughts in meditation, it reflects in the fact that one experiences no desires in the wakeful states and no dreams or nightmares while sleeping.  In perfect meditation, a yogi is aware of only God.  His mind is absorbed in all and nothing at the same time, realizing that he is one with All and therefore need have no desire to want anything since he is everything due to his total awareness of his connection to God.  It is a common occurrence among yogis and masters that when they sleep, they have no dreams.

Desires come from the unconscious.  They get there thru repetition of our conscious thoughts.  If one has no conscious desires, then there won’t be any in the unconscious either.  No desire results in union with the All because one is not focused on any one thing (which is only a part of God) rather that the whole.

When desire arises from within, one has two choices—ignore it (let it go) or embrace it (act it out).  When one can empty himself of all of his selfish desires, then he will possess the clear and fully conscious awareness of union with God.  This is beyond the consciousness and unconsciousness, in a state called super-consciousness.  One big mind.  Super Consciousness possesses no desire, which is the cause of the division known as the Conscious/Unconscious Polar opposites.  It is desire itself that causes the split within the mind.

Putting it all together, the less desires one has the more peace of mind he experiences both while awake and while asleep.  The less desires one has, the more Singular and Unified the Mind becomes, which is like unto the Mind of God.  In this way man becomes One with God if for no other reason than by emulating the Mind of God whose principal characteristic is One-ness.

When one has access to the Mind of God, all things that need to be known can be known.  The most useful application of this ability is to ask God what line of work or career one should pursue as an occupation by which one can serve humanity.  The answer will always be the most appropriate, efficient use of what talents you have in the time you are allowed to remain on earth.  Then offer this work to the world (assuming you have returned to earth after the onset of enlightenment) with no thought of reward.

But if one does the work that Divine Intuition suggests, and attention still comes your way as a result of that work, then the best one can do is to just accept it, as it would be a rare (if not impossible) occurrence to offer one’s Divine Work to the world and have absolutely no one notice at any time in history, for God always intends such Divine Work for the benefit of at least one person.  If no one ever noticed such work, its effects benefiting no one at any point in history, then the work must be selfish and the advice to pursue such work could only have come from the ego.  Hence the importance of uniting with God in order to discover one’s proper dharma duty to the world.

SEX WITH A LOVER, SEX WITH GOD—SAME RESULT

August 20th, 2009

Having sex with someone is no different on a deep level from being completely engaged and immersed in any other thing one so desires.  Whether you are deeply involved in some creative artistic endeavor that totally consumes you and gives you immense joy, or whether you are totally consumed with the giving of yourself totally to one or more human beings, the activity of which gives you immense joy, the end result is the same—total joyous union with the object of desire.

In the case of a yogi, the object of desire is God.

In the case of a lover, the object of desire is the beloved.

The yogi desires union with God.  The lover seeks union with the beloved.  If the union is achieved, the result is the same—orgasmic joy resulting from union with the object of desire..

In deepest meditation, the yogi experiences orgasmic joy that results from unifying him/herself to the Infinite.

At the climax of the loving sexual act, both lovers experience orgasmic joy that results from unifying themselves to each other, the principal underlying idea being that each lover sees the other as the physical embodiment of God with which they seek union.

ALL THIS PAIN IS AN ILLUSION

August 20th, 2009

Having a high threshold for pain is just another way to express one’s calm ability to not mind what life throws at you.  To be OK with anything at all means you will be even-minded at all times.   To not be offended by anything is another way to look at it, another way to describe it.

In extreme cases, one can even endure what would otherwise register as excruciating pain with little or no reaction.  An example in recent times occurred when Mahatma Gandhi once endured a surgery while fully conscious, even calmly chatting with his surgeon during the operation.  In ancient times, the Yogi-teacher of Alexander the Great once walked into his own funeral pyre right in front of a thoroughly astonished Alexander and his army and calmly let himself be burned alive.

Such instances are of course rare but certainly serve to prove the point that when one is united to God, one realizes that all sensation is really an illusion.  Pain, pleasure and everything in between is really as nothing.  It seems real, but what seems to be is not what truly is.

All that we feel is just sensation—nothing more.

Realize that truth and nothing you experience will disturb you, not even your own death.

All this pain is an illusion”— lyrics from Parabola, by TOOL

IF LIFE IS A MOVIE…

August 20th, 2009

If life is a movie…

Only an idiot would take a movie seriously and let it affect him in any great way.

The whole universe is an ongoing movie.

Reincarnation is like viewing only a certain part of a movie.  The only way to get there is to fast forward or rewind the movie.  In essence, this strongly suggests that reincarnation does not necessarily involve moving from one life to the next in a linear fashion, but rather that souls can reincarnate at any time in history relative to our current life stream’s perception of the illusion called time.

Life seems to be a grand movie being observed by God in every conceivable circumstance possible.  The only way for God to do that is to “split” itself into innumerable pieces called souls which then adopt a certain space-time position within the vast universe from which to experience the movie created by God.

God wants us to watch the movie, observe it, enjoy it, learn from it and not place any lasting importance on anything we experience.  Criticize never.  To criticize anything that happens is like God condemning its own self for something that has already happened and was supposed to happen.  Why would God condemn itself?

Life is a script.  It is already written.  Our choices in life determine what part of the already written script we wish to draw to our experience.  Nothing can be created or destroyed.  Everything that has ever been or can ever be is already virtually available for us to experience.  Therefore, nothing can be experienced that is not already available from God as a download (for lack of a better word) to be inserted into our life thru our Free Will choices.

Life is a script that follows a pattern.  It is impossible to experience anything outside of that pattern.  Think of it this way.  Where you live is a house, dwelling, etc.  No matter if you live in a cave, mud hut, wooden house, castle or even a place created of unusual construction materials, the result is the same because the pattern is the same—where you live is a home.  It is a place that contains you.  It is where you live, eat, sleep, entertain friends, etc.  But no matter.  It is a place that is around you, surrounds you, a container for your soul, for your experience.  This is a pattern.  Everyone is subject to it.  Where you live is home.  It is around you as surely as you are in it, no matter what form your home takes.

Even your body is a small home which dwells within the larger home of the whole universe.

Ask yourself,… “What is outside of the universe?”  Is there really an answer to such a question?  Is the answer “nothing”?  Or is the answer “God” or “Mind”?

How about this question…“What is outside of your body?”  “Does the body really stop with the surface of my skin?”  “Is the physical universe the true body of the Creator?”  “Is there any true separation between my body and the universe?”

Life is a simulation, a simulation of God’s perfection.  All that we see and experience is like a computer simulation.

The bane of all computer programmers, builders, and technicians in the world is the fact that no one has yet been able to create the perfect computer or the perfect program that functions perfectly, experiencing absolutely zero programming errors, hardware defects, or system crashes.

And as such it will be in the physical universe for all life,  for only God is truly perfect.  And for all of our attempts and effort, we will never be able to correctly simulate the perfection of God while here within this 3-D creation which is only a simulation of God.

What more reason do we need to understand this fact than to simply remember—a simulation is by definition, not the real thing.

Want the ‘real thing’?

Then forsake the suffering of physical life and go back to God.

STUMBLING LIKE A DRUNK BACK TO DIVINITY

August 20th, 2009

Finding one’s way back to God is like walking down a long dark corridor or hallway.  You only know that one direction is the way but to find it you have to bump into either wall, left and right, repeatedly again and again bumping into each wall.  This can be likened to making a mistake in either direction concerning some free will choice during life.  The idea is to try to lessen the frequency of bumping into either wall as one walks steadily along.  The time between bumps becomes longer and longer.  Then one day it seems that one can no longer remember the last time one bumped into a wall (making a mistake) and then one is flying straight on the path right to the bull’s eye target of God.  Then one is on the True ‘straight and narrow’.  Then one is truly passing thru the eye of a needle, indicating the tiny window of opportunity one has to find thru trail and error in order to arrive at the final destination of communion with God.

OBSESSIONS, ATTACHMENTS AND LIBERATION

August 20th, 2009

It may seem cliché and common sense to mention this, but the reason we are humans are attracted to each other is simply because no matter how you look at it, someone has something that we want.  We are fascinated by what others have as opposed to the things we don’t ourselves have, whether it is career, money, fame, a fit body, a beautiful face or a perfect pair of tits.  Everyone is amazed and desirous of something on the level of form, the level of physicality.

In the field of sex, it is no big secret that we all want what the other sex has, the body parts on the level of form that we don’t possess ourselves.  It is a funny argument to contemplate, but nevertheless true.  If we each had the body parts of the other sex, would we be so fascinated by them anymore?   If men had tits, would they be so fascinated by them?  If women had penises, would they still want one inside their bodies?  If men had vaginas would they spend all day screwing themselves? (that’s a joke, I think…)  I am sure you get the idea by now.

This kind of wanting or desiring is just another trick of in the arsenal of illusions belonging to Maya, another tool in her never-ending quest to keep us tied to the world instead of returning to the Infinite Spirit from which we came.

Obsession, compulsion and even indulgences all serve a grand purpose.  They serve to lessen the hold Maya has on us.  By totally immersing oneself into that which fascinates us, we lessen its grip on us thru the grace of boredom (for lack of a better word).  Boredom with what fascinates us can come at a high price though.  Sometimes we obsess over something for a lifetime before finally realizing it wasn’t so important and was a grand waste of time.  Liberation in this manner comes from complete union with a thing that in the end proves to not possess the great value we attached to it in the first place.  Of course this is the costly and coarse way to attain liberation from that which imprisons our souls.  But it works.

The lofty way to liberation is thru Spirit-born wisdom acquired from some form of Divine Communion.  Meditation certainly serves this function.  When meditating on the Divine, it can be said that we are obsessing or indulging in that which we truly are, no matter how abstract or distant it seems to us at first.  But as with the costly obsession over forms of Maya, obsession with Divinity ends with us realizing for all time that we are One with God (and have always been), and soul-fulfillment is a natural result.  In union with God, we realize that all things are in us and we therefore have no true need of anything in delusive material forms of Maya.

Chose your obsessions carefully.

One choice leads to fulfillment in that tiny bit of knowledge that the one thing we obsessed over is not that fulfilling in the first place.

The other choice leads to the fulfillment that we are all things inside and have never truly had any need for anything outside of ourselves in the first place.

Choose what you will focus on, for it will become a part of you in the end.  If you choose correctly, you will see that you have been a part of all things at all times.

STRIPPERS, PORN STARS & THE GOLDEN HYPOCRISY OF HOLLYWOOD ACTORS

August 20th, 2009

A thought occurred to me while channel surfing and briefly seeing a stripper on a popular but disreputable TV show.  Someone on the show was trying to convince the stripper to give up her ways.  I don’t see the alleged morality involved in coercing a young woman to give up stripping for something more ‘decent’ or ‘ethical’.  The usual argument is that it is supposedly degrading and there are dangers involved in such an occupation.

But I wonder.  Isn’t there always a danger involved in anything one chooses to do as an occupation?

By the Law of Polarity, there is always some advantages and disadvantages involved in doing anything at all.  There is the tired old cliché about walking under a piano being hoisted up a high rise apartment only to be crushed during a performance of Cacophony in C Minor by composer I. C. Irony.  The moral of this story?  Don’t walk down the street or you might die.

And the logic of quitting stripping?  Some say it is dangerous.  The usual argument is that the stripper might attract the unwanted attention of some mentally disturbed man who might become a secret admirer (read ‘stalker’).

I wonder…where is the logic in becoming a famous Hollywood actress?  My argument is that the actress might attract the unwanted attention of some mentally disturbed man who might become a secret admirer (read ‘stalker’).

The possible negative outcome of each scenario of each is precisely the same.

So…whence cometh the strength of thy argument?

Given the right perspective, are not both the professions of stripping and acting equally dangerous?  In fact aren’t both of these professions literally supported by selling fantasies?

Therefore,…can anyone tell me why in the goddamned hell acting is so much more respectable than stripping?  Both women are (to be brutally blunt) whoring themselves.  So why all the fuss?

Or how about this—instead of a stripper we use an Adult Film starlet in the same argument.  (that’s a porno actress for you old schoolers.)  Isn’t the situation identical in all respects?  I have to ask…What is the main difference between the respected Hollywood actress and the disrespected Porn star?  The answer is sex.  Real sex to be specific.

If anything, I can respect the porn stars of the world because they are not acting when they have sex.  They are not in the business of pulling the wool over the viewer’s eyes.  They are really engaging in a sex act.

Isn’t the idea of a Hollywood star doing his/her own stunts identical in essence to a Porn star doing his/her own sexual ‘stunts’?  So why do Hollywood stars shirk away from literally having sex with each other?  Hollywood praises actors and actresses who do their own physical stunts, so why not praise them for actually having sex?  Why the hypocrisy?  And furthermore, why is it that as soon as an actor or actress decides to engage in real intercourse during a love scene they are forever blacklisted, shunned or otherwise despised to the point that they cannot get work in legitimate films?

Why do we celebrate the Hollywood star for their fakery, illusions and lies to the point of giving them golden statues…but all the while debasing and condemning the Porn star for their honest, no holds barred truthful performance?

Given the above hypocrisy-exposing facts, let all truthloving people honor the Porn stars everywhere, not for helping their audience to bust a nut, but for the honesty and sincerity present in their work.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ENLIGHTENMENT? SAME AS AFTER GRADUATION FROM SCHOOL.

August 15th, 2009

Life is dreaming.  Death is the end of the dream-life.  Death is the movement into the Eternal and Unchanging.  Life is the experience of the Temporal and Changeable.  All spun on the web of the Illusion of Time.

Yoga practice helps one experience these truths.  Yoga also shortens one’s experience as a separate being from God.  The more one can experience the truth that time is an illusion, the closer to God one is.  Yoga shortens not one’s life, but the need for more time in life in which to learn the truth.  After all, who would want to stay on as a student when one is totally finished school?  There is no more need to waste more time in school if you learned it all.  Likewise once you realize your oneness with God then there is no more need to be in the school of life.

Enlightenment is the graduation so to speak from the school of life, having shortened one’s years in academia by deliberate learning.  Then one has the option to stay in life-school as a learned teacher.  Newly graduated scholars who feel compassion for the uneducated students may stay a time only to teach and/or maintain reasonable conditions somewhere in the school campus where serious students can come to learn.

Teaching is the only thing worthwhile doing if one decides to stay on earth after the experience of enlightenment.

Otherwise, one is free to go explore the universe, or just go back to Paradise if one is tired of incarnation altogether.
