TRANSCENDING THE BODY IS KEY TO ENLIGHTENMENT

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

It is impossible for lovers to truly merge their bodies together sexually.  Such is not the point.  The body is just a tool lovers can use to transcend and to go beyond, on their way back to God.  The truth is that the body is something that all must eventually transcend.

Realizing we are One eliminates the very need for the body.  When one knows this Truly, the specter of death is no longer fearful.  If anything, death is a pleasant release from the false need to think of oneself as a body separate from all things.

Thinking we were separate is the problem to begin with.  When we learn that we are One, then we are in Joy because we experience a kind of Samadhi Orgasm with All, and we realize we are One with The All.

The body, along with the rest of the physical world, seems to be just a tool for the expression of the dreams of consciousness.  These dreams occur within the whole of the universe, not just within the confines of the physical body or right in front of the physical body.  The dreams of consciousness occur everywhere simultaneously.  Consciousness expresses not just a physical body, but also a physical universe along with it.  This occurs because the dreamer needs a vantage point from which to experience its own creation.

All the Universe is a dream of the Cosmic Dreamer.  This includes all things within it and all sentient beings (humans as well).

Meditation upon God is a great tool by which anyone may slowly realize their Oneness with All, that they are a part of it all and it all is a part of him.

It seems that the best we can do with our lives, with the time we are given, is to just offer the best of what we are to the world (or wherever we find ourselves at any given time), just as an actor gives their best performance on a stage or on film and then is gone.  Our ‘performance’ is given, offered for all to see and experience and then we are no more.  Therefore, it is wisest for us all to just do our best with what we are given, to follow whatever selfless dream one has to offer to the benefit of all.  (Beware worrying about the results of one’s efforts, for it is useless and leads to reincarnation.)

The closer our thoughts, words and actions resemble Eternity and its Eternal characteristics, the longer will we have a lasting helpful impact upon everyone else who comes after us (who are really us, a part of us, a part of God).

A VIEW OF IMMORTALITY

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

The process of achieving immortality seems to be linked to the process known as acclimation, or becoming accustomed to a thing to such a point that it no longer affects you in any way.

An example of this is drug addiction.  The body develops an ever-increasing immunity to anything it is exposed to.  In the case of drugs, the addict must use more and more of the drug each time he takes a hit or shoots up, etc.  This is the only way to achieve any effect from the drug as its use is repeated over time.

Achieving immortality seems similar.  When meditating, all of the various body processes (heartbeat, breathing, digesting, etc.) stop.  In this way there is no stimulation from which the body must acclimate.  All is even in meditation.  If there is no stimulation, there is nothing to resist.  The body does not have to fight to stay alive.  So the body doesn’t decay as quickly as those who don’t stop the process thru meditation.

All the body ever does is exist in a state of constant change from one second to the next.  Enlightenment ensues when one can bring the changes or fluctuations of consciousness to a rest.  To not let anything unconsciously affect him at all, for such is the fluctuation that causes life which is suffering (ala Buddhism).

It seems like we are all wasting time allowing ourselves to involuntarily react to something when it was never even necessary to react at all in the first place.  These reactions are what caused us to believe what we are seeing is real.  The more real one thinks it is, the more unpleasant a life he will lead, which includes a body that thru its pattern of decay displays all of the crap it’s owner believed was real in life, and what is believes most recently.   When one stops reacting, his body no longer has to perform unneeded functions that change it from an initial state of perfect changelessness.

This process is akin to controlling life and death.  One controls life and death by leading a balanced existence while here.  Being in the middle of both extremes of life and death may be described as suspended existence, which is immortality.

Immortals apparently do not live so much as they just BE, which includes playing a part in the drama of life by doing what best suits their ability to serve all beings in the universe, the uni-verse, the one-verse, the one-word, or the one vibration.

PIMP & WHORE, EGO & SOUL

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Unenlightened people are whores to their pimp-ego’s.  Maybe this is why so many people are into this popular cult movement right now in the world?  It would seem obvious enough.  Seems society cannot dig any lower for entertainment these days…but we can learn from it.

What more overt display of the activity of the ego right before our faces could there possibly be than the pimp-whore relationship?  No better overt example of brute force and manipulation by fear exists which can expose the most base of relationships that can possibly exist on earth.  It seems stupid to me that the ego would allow its relationship with ourselves to be exposed right there before our eyes where we might notice it and learn of it, and realize it once and for all.  But that’s the ego for you…stupid.  Just laugh at it.

Love your way thru whatever the foolish ego shows before you.  Do your ordained work the best you can.  And remember God & Love in all things you do.

When you side with the side of God, you side with power of the True Self, and receive subsequent control of your Soul instead of giving control over to some silly thing that the ego displays before you in its endless attempts to trick you..

God is the peace found within the inner part of one’s Self.

There paradise exists.

WHO IS THE REAL WHORE?

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

From one perspective, someone who sells their skills for hire is no different than a common whore.  If we are only motivated by money, greed and materialism then we are behaving as whores, addicts even.  One should never sell themselves out for a buck.

The fighting monks of the Shaolin Kung Fu temple used to say that a Shaolin priest would never sell himself for even a handful of rice.  That is respect for oneself.

Everyone who isn’t doing their part for the benefit of the world, doing what they are naturally suited for, instead only unconcerned with exploiting that ability or skill for obscene profit in a mad race for materialistic reasons…resembles a prostitute of the worst sort.

A common whore who sells her body for sexual favor sometimes seems more respectable than the celebrities and media moguls of the world who are only interested in furthering their bank accounts and inflating their egos instead of using what they have been given to help make the world a better place.

MORE THOUGHTS FROM WATCHING A NEW PBS TV SHOW BY DR. WAYNE DYER

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Our limitations are defined by what we believe about ourselves.  If one has no beliefs, than one has the ability to think the impossible.  He has no bonds in his brain.  A man with no definite definition of himself cannot be limited by any belief.  He is limitless because he has not limited himself.

“The only thing limiting the human being is the human being himself.”—the ET named Semjase, from the Contact Notes of Billy Meier.

The patterns of belief in our minds define every thought we will have.  What we believe in our brain determines our experience.  You are what you think (about yourself).

Our limitations come from the Ego.  God’s inspirational ideas are designed, at the very least, to remind us that we are not so limited as we believe.  No wonder since belief itself is a mistake.

The things that inspire us are gifts from God that are designed to help us break our mental bonds that shackle us.  Be inspired.  Be happy with your inspirations.  If you are happy with your inspirations, follow them.

What inspires you?  God alone?  Writing?  Music?  Art?

“By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.”—Nikos Kazantzakis (author of The Last Temptation of Christ)

THE TRUTH OF THE HOLY GRAIL EXPLAINED SIMPLY

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Questing for the Grail is tantamount to questing for enlightenment.  The grail is just another metaphor for enlightenment or nirvana.  The proof is in the choice of the symbol itself.

The Grail is a symbolized as a cup.  In spiritual circles, the process of attaining enlightenment is likened to emptying oneself of oneself.  Spoken another way, enlightenment is the equivalent of pouring out of your soul everything that you think you are so that God can come and fill up your soul with what you really are.

The process is symbolized as emptying a cup full of dirty water only to have it magically filled with clear Divine water by some unseen limitless Source, which also keeps the cup filled no matter how much one tries to pour out the clean water to a thirsty world.

GOD HAS NO FORM, GOD HAS NO FACE

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

We only fall in love with the things we don’t think we are.  We are attracted to the things we think are missing in us.  The truth is we already have everything that we need.

God is Love.  God is Joy.  To attract God’s Love, it seems all we have to do is be receptive to it, to be feminine to it so to speak.  Being vulnerable like that is obviously not easy for the majority of people or else most people would currently be very happy indeed.  But that is not the case today.  This type of vulnerability also goes a long way in explaining the hatred and misunderstanding concerning homosexuality in that those who hate gays are reacting against their own innate distrust of themselves—of being vulnerable.

Maybe the media’s sudden fascination with gay culture is a sign that the world (or at least our country) is becoming more spiritual as evidenced by its fascination with the whole ‘gay thing’?

All of this smacks of the humility or humbleness that is required in spirituality.  Being humble requires receiving, i.e. being ‘gay towards God’.  We are souls which are feminine.  God’s spirit is masculine.  We are naturally attracted to God’s Spirit for it wants to give us Love, His Love if you will.  We receive God’s Love, allowing it to penetrate our Souls, and we become One with Him.  This is the masculine perspective.

Then there is the feminine view.  God is our Mother.  Her Love is all encompassing, surrounding and penetrating down into our deepest core.  It is Her Love that consoles us when we are down, She who loves us when we are lonely, She who consoles us and soothes us.  We receive Her Love by our perceived lack thereof in ourselves, which is an aspect of being humble in that only when you empty yourself of everything can Her Love can flow thru you like water filling a cup, or even like a river flooding us.

In either view, we are attracted to the Love.  So no matter how you look at it, God is Love.  (even the Bible says as much)

So if you wish to see God as male, fine.

If you wish to see God as female, fine.

If you wish to see God as an Eternal Parent, void of any gender, fine.

If you wish to see God simply as a Universal form, fine.

If you wish to see God as an Indefinable Abstraction, fine.

If you wish to see God as Eternity, fine.

The form is relatively unimportant.

God simply is, no matter how you look at it.

God is.

LAUGH AT THE DREAM

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

It seems to me that the people we see in the media (entertainers in particular) are selling dreams, impossible dreams for the most part.  Everything we see on TV, every Hollywood movie is some phantasmagoria dreamed up by some artist (and sometimes not even that).  They invite us to suspend our disbelief in what we are seeing and play along with the story being told.

By contrast, spiritual masters are selling (‘offering’ may be the more appropriate word) not dreams, but the Truth.  They tell us that life itself is a phantasmagoria dreamed up by ourselves.  They also teach that we unconsciously choose to suspend disbelief that we created all that we see in favor of just rolling along with the story we ourselves are unknowingly making up as we go along.  This is understandably a bit difficult for most people to accept, so they simply keep unconsciously dreaming and then reacting to that dream as though it were real, not realizing that it is anything but real and that its cause is found within themselves.

The reason the world is in this current sad state of affairs arises from the simple fact that most people are interested in dreams and fantasies instead of facing their own reality or truth—the truth that what we think is real (our life) is also a dream, and that the dream weavers are in fact—us.

Yogis and masters are adepts in the practice of stopping the dream, of waking up from the hellish unconscious process of forever dreaming.  But also they are masters at the delicate art of consciously choosing to dream along with the rest of us if they so wish, all the while consciously remembering that it is all a dream and therefore not taking too seriously anything they experience.  Such masters are known for having a wonderful sense of humor, always ready for a good laugh.

And as such it should be.  Life should not be taken too seriously by anyone.  If that alone happened, I doubt there would be very many people in the world who would want to cause strife, conflict, or war not to mention trying to cause terror which is just an overly amped-up version of sticking your nose in other people’s affairs or bullying others around.  Despots, harsh dictators and the like are really just adult versions of the schoolyard bully.  Question…if everyone in the world did nothing more than laugh at a despot when he expressed his desire to invade a country or makes a case for fighting or going to war and therefore requiring the help of all under his rule,…what would be the result?  Certainly not war, that is for sure.  If everyone else was busy enjoying life and laughing at those who demand that we fight against ourselves when there is no legitimate reason for it, then the world would never experience any kind of grand conflict for the simple fact that the dream the despot was selling was just too absurd for anyone to take seriously—and so they laugh at him.

The ancients described Laughter as the Great Neutralizer because it causes us to come back to center, to retrieve our balance with ourselves and our surrounding.

SELF CONTROL IS LIFE CONTROL

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

What remember only what we have reactions to.  Whatever gets our attention is what our experience of life is.  If one has no more reactions to anything during life, then he has truly learned self control.  Such a person of self control may look bored at times, but he is just absorbed within the Truth found within himself.

Eternal life must be total absorption within the self.  Such a person chooses to leave life when they wish to do so.

En-joy.  Be In-Joy.  Be in joy.  Do what attracts your attention, doing for the benefit of others.  Do what you can.  That is all you can do.  All you can do alone.  Enjoy your work.  Do what you enjoy.

A BORING JOB IS PROSTITUTION

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Having sex with no emotional content, with no heart, with no love is the considered the general conduct of a prostitute.  While most people would condemn the work of a whore, I will defend her work by comparison to the work of the common people.

In my view, the work of a whore is the same as that of any person who is working a job or career that uses only your physical body for labor and does not integrate the heart or mind to any great extant, at least enough to cause said person to truly proclaim love of their vocation.

The way I see it, if your choice of vocation does not truly engage your body, mind and soul, if it does not excite you or enthuse you on every level, command your entire interest and concentration, enflame you with such passion and happiness that you don’t mind losing sleep, working long hours, being creative and expansive beyond requirements, etc., then you are involved in the wrong line of work and a change is in order.
