THE DANCE OF LOVE IS THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES
There is an ancient spiritual teaching which states (in variety of ways) that a man should be the ‘leader’ in the relationship, concurrent with a admonition to never give in to his lady’s demands upon his will or his freedom of choice. In modern vernacular, a man who fails at this is called a wimp or pussy-whipped.
After examining a piece of classical music one night, I realized that the above ancient teaching manifests itself even in the everyday music we hear.
Take nearly any piece of music, a popular song, a jazz tune, or some old classical piece by a dead European composer and what do you find? Bass tones always provide the foundation upon which the treble melody floats and dances about. This is always the way with every style of music that has ever existed. Most musicians are able to determine this right from the start of their training.
Great music flows effortlessly. Bass and treble together. Neither makes any demands upon the other. They dance together, the melody orbiting around the ‘bass-ic’ tune. Even planets orbiting the sun mimic this musical dance. The sun’s path through the universe is never determined by the planets. The planets follow the sun and dance around it as the sun moves slowly through space.
It does not work the other way around. Planets do not order the sun around, telling it what to do. Likewise in music, the melody never demands that the bass notes follow it around. The bass notes determine in what fashion the melody will move.
If orderliness, harmony and beauty is to be manifested in life, then men must be resolute in their connection to the Spiritual Source, move as their Intuition dictates, and be absolutely firm about it. And the women in their lives must follow along or else find another man around which to orbit, one with whom she is more in tune. Demanding that a man become something the woman wants is just an attempt to bring Hell on Earth. If a man is confronted with such a woman who will not conform to universal orderliness, then the man must just let her go about her life free of any ties, either to be alone or to find some other man.
For a man to submit to a woman’s demands is to create a relationship that is nothing but a cacophony to the ears of anyone within earshot of such a couple which has cursed themselves with anything and everything except the genuine love and beauty that is possible within any relationship.
Planets orbit the Sun for a reason. Electrons orbit protons for a reason.
The reason? That is just the way it works. End of debate.
Anyone who will not conform to this all-too clearly manifested Universal Order gets exactly the Hell they have absentmindedly chosen.
This then, is the explanation of that ancient spiritual teaching which has been so misunderstood for so long.
In all cases and in every circumstance, the above explanation is dependant upon one overriding factor without which the whole ancient teaching falls apart—the man involved must be connected to God, the Source, etc. Unless he be enlightened (or nearly so), then the relationship is likely to be doomed. All depends upon his being permanently connected to God, for only in this way can the man even hope to know where the music should go next. Without this Divine Intuition, all hope is lost for a peaceful, harmonious and loving relationship. Otherwise, he may as well just give in to all of his lady’s absurd demands.
